Nikon has officially launched  , namely . The new Nikon D3100 price retail at RM 2,198.00 (with AF-S DX NIKKOR18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR  lens).  Fairly significant update to its sibling, the  -upgraded to  from 10-megapixels, has ISO settings from 100-3200, 11  points and most importantly, adds Live View and  1080p video recording. Nikon has also added full-time continuous  during video recording and to sweeten the pot, there’s   which can track up to 35 faces simultaneously.

This seemed to satisfy the thirst of the forward Nikonia cheap DSLR with Full HD recording capabilities like a stronghold of Canon, with its series of EOS 550D.

CMOS-based camera-resolution 14-megapixel sensor is indeed positioned for novice users. With the shape similar to Nikon D3000, this camera comes with the ability to record full HD (1080p). The difference might only exist 'in'. The camera is also fully equipped Expeed2 processor.
